A draft of the five-year Master Parks plan for the Town of North Judson was recently submitted to the Indiana Department of Natural Resources and a link is available for the public to view the draft plan, according to Clerk-Treasurer Andrew Rowe.
Rowe noted that the town and the park board members continue to finalize the plan. Once the formal plan is approved with any recommendations from the DNR, it will be submitted to the DNR for formal approval. If it is approved, the town will be able to apply for grant funds to make some of the projects in the plan a reality.
Rowe previously stated that the draft plan includes public input on projects that residents would like to see at the parks in town such as seating improvements, restrooms, tourism features, and recreational activities.
A link to the plan can be found here. Any thoughts may be emailed to info@townofnorthjudson.com.
